The Question Particles

Many questions in Thai start out just like simple statements. To make the statement into a question you can add one of the question particles, ไหม or หรือ to the end.

Questions with หรือ

คุณ สบายดี
(You are doing well.)

+ หรือ (?)

คุณ สบายดี หรือ
(How are you?)

Questions with ไหม

คุณ สบายดี
(You are doing well.)

+ ไหม (?)

คุณ สบายดี ไหม
(How are you?)
